The Caves.

OOC: so proud, i made everyone almost throw up

IC: "What are we doing here? Here is where i find what you all really can do, and if you aren't a special, I remove you from the earth. Simple as that."
"So, what are we waiting for, i know about dan and ms. Kitty over here, but what about yourself?"

OOC: really? letting you teleport me wasn't special enough?

IC:
"Really Dan?" Xander said in an exasperated tone "You do know that even without the wings you look like someone who's hiding something. And when a group of people who look like they don't want to be noticed" Xander gestured at the rest of the group "sit and converse in a public place, something's up."

Turning to Death, Xander rolled his eyes and promptly disappeared.
Walking behind the wraith, he released the charm while drawing his sword. Knowing it would have no effect on the creature, Xander slashed through the space currently occupied by Death.

"that enough for you?" he asked.

OOC: I was waiting for the six slots but whatever.

IC: Dhaevos waved a hand in Cub's direction, then pointed to himself and gave a thumbs up. He'd be fine, and he figured she'd get the picture. True, Achilles probably could've translated, but he preferred talking for himself when possible.
He rolled his eyes at Xander's comment.
Still doesn't make it normal, he thought to himself.
He jolted, then, when the guy disappeared entirely, and immediately jumped into an aggressive posture when he reappeared behind Achilles. Though he could see his friend was unharmed by the guy's actions, he couldn't help glaring a little before settling down, slouching against the cave wall again.
*All right* he signed *so Cub here,* he pointed to cub, *turns into a cat,* he pointed at Achilles, *Death has nauseating methods of transportation, I have wings, and Alex,* he pointed to Alex, *likes to disappear and stab people. Well, this is really fun. What now?* Naturally there was quite a bit of sarcasm in his posture. He wasn't going to make this easy for Alex who was coming across as pretty darned cocky.

OOC: Well Xan, looks like it's going to take some work for Dhaevos/Dan to warm up to ya. ^_^

Couple things. First thing, I figured I'd explain Dhaevos' signing here. I tried to do it IC, but it just got too wordy. To break it down, after pointing at someone, Dhaevos was giving each of your characters a name sign. Cub's is a combination of 'cat' and 'lady', Death's is actually a combo of 'death' and 'kiss' (that one actually looks pretty epic ^_^) and Xander's is the word 'crazy' but using the 'A' sign. lol, I figured somebody would want to comment.

The other thing. I finally found the guidelines for creating an alliance. Well, Ninj actually posted a link for me ^_^ Anywho, the cost to create an alliance is a whopping 2500! ~low whistle~ I don't know if they'll let members split the cost or not, but either way I'm kind of holding out on Cluney winning that story contest so we're at least 500 points closer. As slow as this conversation is going, lol, I have a feeling we'll be able to make the cost by the time we actually get around to forming an alliance. If not, I figure we'll just create and unofficial group and just make it "official" once we have the funds. If they won't let us split, I'll take care of the cost. I've got two char's on here, so it won't be as hard for me to get there.

also i almost hate myself for my next post, but its to put alex in his place.
nothing personal, but he is going to have a lot of fun against an immaterial charrie with bipolar issues.

Cub shrugged as the angel boy rejected her instructions. it had only been a suggestion anyway. she realized the whole group thought she only turned into a cat. she thought on maybe explaining about her other form but decided better of it. she didn't know the group nearly enough. well she knew of the angel but anyone with a computer can learn about someone who gets on the news. she blinked as the big mouthed one disappeared and slashed the reaper. she tilted her head as not much happened but figured Death's body was spectral which made stabbing him not an option. however she was pretty sure it wasn't pleasant either. she stepped over to Dhaevos mostly so she could make sure she was out of his way. he didn't seem to like Alex much so she did not want to be in his way if he snapped. "if this whole friendship thing lasts remind me to get a sign language book." she told him putting a sarcastic tone on the word 'friendship'. her have friends? yeah right.

OOC: prepare for fun
Just because im spectral doesn't mean i won't be insulted.

IC:
"ok so you are special. that makes all four of us. Now to get down to business."
Making small talk, death started trying to learn more about each of the people.
However unbeknownst to them, he started using his energy drain on Alex.

thinking to himself: "this will teach that annoyance to mess with me and i don't even have to look like im attacking him."

OOC: No offence your Excellency, but i hate you

IC:
Xander felt weird. Like he was fighting something without doing so. He suspected one of the others was doing it to him, but he couldn't be sure. Looking to the others he asked the question that he thought was on all of their minds "what the heck are we going to do?" He started pacing in a large circle and the feeling he had earlier dissipated. Obviously one of the others was doing it.

He rephrased his earlier question "I mean, what is the point of all this?" He pointed to death "he is obviously the most powerful", he pointed to syren "you're the most messed up, but still obviously powerful". Turning to cub he laughed "you can turn into a cat and who knows what!" Looking down at the sword still in his hand, he said "And I'm insane, which makes us the most incompatible people on earth!"
"So what are we going to do?"

OOC: your move, and hahahaha your Excellency

OOC: stupid 6 feet range *mutters* got to get that upgraded

OOC: I think Cub and Alex are going to end up fighting. I am pretty sure. XD

OOC:I'm waiting for slots *wink* then she's dead meat

Not bad, Cat Lady, not bad, Dhaevos thought, smirking at Cub. She was obviously just as impressed by Alex's display as he had been, meaning, not really. He was beginning to like this girl. Kindred spirits might be a little too strong, but even as fuzzy as his memory was right now, he got the feeling her level of candidness was rare where he was concerned.

He looked up as Xander began speaking. He was completely unfazed by the comment made with regards to himself. Dhaevos, or Dan, knew he was messed up. He wasn't sure how messed up, but if he'd had to guess, he would have said he'd probably spent most of his life that way.

*As much as I hate to say it*, Dhaevos signed, *Lunatic's got a point. You got some kinda plan "Death's Kiss"?*

He couldn't help smirking a bit as he signed his friend's alias again. What the heck kind of name was Death's Kiss anyway? It was just so melodramatic!

OOC: Actually, Cub, I'm kind of hoping it will be a while before you get ahold of that Sign Language book. Dhaevos is starting to warm up to Cub, and I'll be interested to see how that progresses with the language barrier. ^_^

OOC: yeah this love fest is going to be interesting

OOC: Woah, woah! Easy there ranger! ^_^ Dhaevos' interest is entirely platonic. He merely thinks of her as a potential friend. Besides Cub looks like she's quite a bit younger than him, so... ah... creepy!

OOC: that is not where it sounded like it was going. you need to specify feelings if you don't wan't the wrong message being interpreted under hazy information. Like I said before, keeping you on your toes

Cub twitched at her description but decided not to let it bother her. instead she watched the mad man walk around for a moment. "Ok first off I was only on this crazy ride cause I was curious. And I swear the first one of you that makes a cat joke will get hit between the legs." she was quick to add the last part. the last thing she wanted to hear was curiosity killed the cat. "second we work fine. Arial specialist. Ground fighter. Astral fighter. None ya." she said pointing to the angel beside her. the crazy man. the reaper. then herself. she didn't want them to know what she could do basically cause they gave her no reason to tell them so far. however she noted she did fit rather well. technical support. she doubted any of them had that kind of skill range she had. if they did she wondered to what level cause she was always up for a hacking match.

OOC: its hard driving a topic all by one's self oh well, not everyone is as perfect as me...


IC: "If you really think i am the most powerful then you should stop being snarky. If you want to know, im looking for potential allies. But since i don't want to 'make my senses duller, i am going to attack you unexpectedly and with out warning' If you can fend me off, you'll do fine. Dan is a walk in since i already know his abilities."

In saying that he materialized (Exited wraith), and cloaked himself. (aka invisible)

OOC: Real dramatic your Excellency

Xander laughed at the little performance performance, saying "two can play this game". He then cast his invisibility charm, then proceeded to run over to the entrance of the cave and waited. He then started scraping his sword against one of the cave walls, which cast echoes into the cave itself. Smirking, he thought to himself "come get me shadow-brain"

OOC: your move cub

OOC: nope. it's Syren's move.

OOC: but syren isn't being attacked

OOC: I don't believe Cub is either.

OOC: he only said syren was exempted from the test, not you

im saying i won't attack syren, not that he shouldn't post
