Falls Cafe

It was between the lunch and dinner rush, so the cafe was mostly empty. A few people sat in the tables, spread out far from each other to minimize interaction.
Akai was one of these people, sitting in a far corner by a window so she could watch the happenings outside, though her attention was directed towards the book she read. Everything else could have hardly existed to her. The quiet times alone were the ones Akai enjoyed the most, no prying minds trying to discover her secrets, no nosy friendlies, and no troubles and worries for other people. Just her, and her book.
